Demolition Dinosaur

This project began with a dog walk past the block of flats Thamesview Walton on Thames that were about to be demolished. Rather than a wrecking ball a muncher like machine munched away at the concrete each day until the building was down. The sounds and precision and the view of what was happening was mesmerizing. I felt compelled to photograph and paint what I found to be an exciting, visual, sensual and an awe-inspiring experience.
