This project began with a dog walk past the block of flats Thamesview Walton on Thames that were about to be demolished. Rather than a wrecking ball a muncher like machine munched away at the concrete each day until the building was down. The sounds and precision and the view of what was happening was mesmerizing. I felt compelled to photograph and paint what I found to be an exciting, visual, sensual and awe-inspiring experience.

Welcome to my sculptures that I've created throughout my career. Each piece is unique and holds its own meaning, crafted in clay and cast into bronze/ bronze resin. Many of the pieces that you see are for sale, so if you're interested please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm always eager to share my passion with others and am available for a wide range of artistic ventures.

‘Handmaid's Tea’ Royal Society of British Artists Mall Gallery 2020

I had great fun in producing these images on tea bags, having researched tea plantations, its wildlife, and tea ceremonies. I then collaged onto a dry used tea bag with water colour, gouache, ground tea leaves, grasses, and tracing paper.

These shots were taken as the life model was dressing at the end of a mornings life drawing session. They lead to an exhibition at 'The Richard Young Gallery' in Kensington. This photograph was their best exhibitors seller that year. As a freelancer I have covered many events including portraiture and weddings. I still take numerous shots today mainly as research for my work and enjoyment, covering family, animals and the natural world.

Once I get a connection with an animal either in the flesh or through a photo, I am better prepared to capture a likeness. After a longish stay in Heron ward, in St Peters Hospital it seemed appropriate to give them a painting of the Heron I had painted a few months prior to being admitted

A Winter Wonderland

Landscape

I find it challenging to design an abstract composition from traditional views and then either paint print or collage, a response. Turning the painting upside down helps decide whether the abstraction has worked.
